Orange Orange

orange slices arranged like a heart on a green plateToday's post is all about color. I was inspired to pick orange by the fantastic sunrises I have been greeted by this week. They paint my bedroom in a warm orange glow making it easy to pop out of the covers and start my day. For some reason when it's gloomy it is much better to stay under the blankets. But orange rejuvenates me, gets my motor running. I hope you enjoy my guest photography today and click on the shops and photos. Oooo-aarrrrange you glad I picked orange!

Olympic Sculpture Park in Seattle - Part 1

Our first day in Seattle found stormy rainy weather. Imagine that! Coming from the arid west we were looking forward to this natural phenomenon. After checking into the Edgewater Hotel right on Elliott Bay, we decided to put on our rain gear and take a walk to the Olympic Sculpture Park a few blocks away. We were lucky that the rain stopped even though the skies remained gray and I could snap photos to my hearts content. Here are my first of many more to come. What do you think?

Back Alley

Some people enjoy walking the streets and shopping in a tourist town but I find myself wandering through alleys and looking at the seamy but sometimes beautiful side of the buildings. You never know what you might find, like a door perched high above the alley for an unknown purpose.

Crazy Horse

The day was sunny but cold and windy. My camera in hand I came around the corner of an old restored brick building in the center of Old Town Fort Collins and there he was in his splendid coat of colors. Crazy Horse!
