Warehouse Moon

An old warehouse in Bucyrus, Ohio has been boarded up for a long time. Every time I venture back to my childhood home a few miles away, this building beckons my camera to shoot. If anyone recognizes this building I would love to know what its former life was. I think it is a very beautiful old building and in the west we do not see very much brick, especially used in such a big structure. I loved playing in post processing with this one. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

Rising

According to astrology some of us are ruled by the sun and some by the moon, not to mention many other planets. The sun is hot, dry and masculine in nature; whereas the moon is associated with the feminine and dark energies. There are sun worshipers and folk that like to howl at the moon. Sunday Morning Gallery - Friday Night

The night was warm for the first week of March in northern Colorado. The storefronts of the small western town were ablaze with light giving the narrow sidewalks filled with young lovers a festive feeling. The gallery and bistro doors were open, beckoning all to come in and browse or have a micro brew. The serious conversations of the week before were vanquished in the magic of the night and the evening was filled with mirth and good will.
